BIOGRAPHY

Alex Bracq was born and raised in South Africa, it was in this environment where his love for the wilderness, outdoors, adventure and sports started. He has trained in several martial arts for over 13 years including Kickboxing, Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, using his skills to compete in martial arts competitions.

Always having a passion for film, from a young age he would act out and repeat scenes verbatim. He later started is acting career performing in theatre shows and later transitioning to screen acting. Wanting to combine his experience of acting and martial arts, Alex trained and qualified to become a member of the British Stunt Register in December 2015.

“Ever since I became a stunt performer, Xion Pg has been my go-to protective gear! All their items are low profile, the most discrete of any protective pads I have come across, which is great when you have limited space in your film costume. Their D30 technology allows me to move and mould the shape of the pads so that I am comfortable but when an impact happens, they instantly harden and protect me from injury.

One of my favourite items is the shortsleeve Jacket Pro! I use this for everything from fight scenes in films to stair falls and even car knockdowns, all of which I have walked away unscathed, ready to go again”.

Thank You Xion for having me as one of the family and keeping me safe.
