I’ve been skiing for as long as I can remember. In my childhood the skiing holidays were always my favorite, now it’s my life and my passion.
During several courses in sports and wintersports, my vision on the mountains became much clearer. The focus moved to the ungroomed part of the mountain. The more knowledge and experience I gathered, the more accessible it became. From here an untamable urge grew on me, to climb and descent remote mountains and to push myself to the top of my game.
The last couple of years I’ve lived as a nomad travelling through the Alps looking for “the unknown” and skiing big steep mountains. Entering freeride competitions opened my eyes, I was able to measure myself with the best freeriders of the world who showed me unlimited possibilities of freeriding.
My goals are to keep progressing, achieve better results during the FWQ and ultimately qualify for the freeride world tour as the first male skier out of the lowlands. Meanwhile I will work on several refreshing projects and expeditions to explore new terrain and try different angles of freeriding.
My dream is to inspire other people to do what they love to do. I love to go out and tread my own path and push different boundaries. But also to grow the freeride-snow-sport in the Benelux. Progress every day and to keep having as much fun as i have right now being in the mountains.
“Crashes are inevitable in my line of sport, and walking away from a crash unharmed is not always the case. XION PG already protects me for years and prevents serious injuries to my body. It gives me a safe feeling every time I’m out on the Slopes!“
